UPDATE: Copper Creek Hut is now open for overnight use on limited dates! Reservations are currently available at https://skimtta.org/

Road Condition: Traces of snow as you get closer to the Lower SnoPark. Cars with AWD/4WD should be fine, 2WD vehicles should highly consider having chains. Must park at lower SnoPark. There are some downed trees along the sides of the road to watch for while driving up.

Trail Condition: There’s a short walk from the Lower SnoPark due to low snow levels before being able to transition to skis. From there on, solid coverage - about a foot base at the upper SnoPark. The marker up at High Hut indicated a snow depth of 5 feet. The trail has not been recently groomed, but there is a fresh blanket of snow!

Snow Condition: Spring-like snow conditions. A little heavier with a slight crust up at High Hut. Be careful about getting too close to the edges of steep slopes (cracking). Up to 6 inches of new snow. Snowshoes and skis will be best for the current conditions.

Take advantage of the upcoming clear and sunny weather – hit the MTTA trails to get a great view of Mt. Rainier!
