It Was Done in an R1 (Look up the Song)

The R1® Pullover Hoody is a versatile, technical midlayer fleece for stop-start activities in cold conditions. Made from a blend of 93% recycled polyester and 7% spandex, and constructed in a classic grid pattern to trap heat and wick moisture. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

RMI Expeditions' guides wear this as their second baselayer - it's super breathable, form-fitting, and works great as a pillow when in a bind. Just be sure it doesn't fit too tight: this should go over your light baselayer and comfortably under your outer insulative layers.

  • Light and breathable Polartec® Power Grid® fabric with HeiQ® Pure odor control has outstanding stretch and durability
  • Snug-fitting, low-profile balaclava hood fits comfortably under a helmet strap; a center-front slim zip with a soft kissing-welt zipper garage at the chin provides next-to-skin comfort
  • Off-shoulder seams sit comfortably under pack straps
  • Pullover silhouette has a deep center-front zipper to allow for quick venting
  • Slim-zip, left-chest pocket with a zipper garage and a mesh pocket bag
  • Sleeves have discreet on-seam thumb holes for added coverage in cold conditions
  • Longer torso stays tucked in under a harness or a pack waistbelt; made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory
  • Made in Colombia.

Best pullover I have and I have many

I have bought four of these. They go with me on every trip. Like the guide said in his review, it’s a perfect bit of kit. I can run in it in 30* F with the wind blowing and it has never let me down. I wore one when I climbed Orizaba and some of the 14ers.
