A Staple on Rainier

A staple workhorse of our rental program, the Denali 75L is the ideal no-frill mountaineering pack. Super adjustable, this pack fits a wide range of bodies, and the Fusion Flex Pro suspension system offers a ton of support. This smaller version of the Denali 100 shares a nearly identical feature set with its larger sibling, making it a big-mountain technical pack that is well-suited to shorter alpine outings or minimalist expeditions.

  • Fusion Flex Pro Suspension: Fusion Flex Pro Suspension with Dual Aluminum Stays for hauling massive loads into the backcountry
  • Strippable Features: Removable features like aluminum stays, top pocket, bivy pad, and hipbelt to transform to a lighter pack
  • Aluminum Hardwear: Durable Aluminum hardware for cold weather durability and functionality with gloves

With 75 liters of volume and the ability to comfortably carry over 70 lbs (30kg) of gear, the Denali 75 is a technical expedition pack designed with the needs of a modern alpinist in mind. It strikes the delicate balance of load hauler and streamlined basecamp access pack.

  • FusionFlex Pro suspension with auto-canting, independently rotating harnesses for a custom fit.
  • Dual aluminum stays with full-length framesheet that directly connect to the hipbelt for a superior carry.
  • 3D precurved hipbelts and harness designed with multi-density LifeSpan EVA foam construction to eliminate hot spots and relieve pressure in sensitive areas.
  • Hipbelt is shaped to work with a harness and includes a zippered pocket and gear loop with ice clipper and sled attachment points.
  • Strippable aluminum stays, top pocket, bivy pad, and hipbelt to transform to a lighter pack.
  • Front abrasion panel with twin reinforced daisy chains and Ice tool sleeve.
  • Top hook-and-loop and reflective ice tool attachment with adjustable bottom loop and aluminum toggle to fit any tool.
  • Dual storm skirt top with quick-pull drawcord closure and top webbing compression/rope strap.
  • Molded foam backpanel with Gription Lumbar pad to control large loads.
  • Side zippered access to the main compartment with dual compression straps that can cross-over and buckle over the front of the pack.
  • Included foam bivy pad positioned in Internal hydration sleeve with universal reservoir hanger and hydration port.
  • Floating top pocket with interior zippered compartment and an underside zippered pocket and key clip.
  • Twin side fabric expandable pockets with over-under compression for water bottles or pickets and wands.
  • Reinforced top tubular webbing haul handle and large cording zipper pullers for easy use with gloves.
  • Dual layered, padded bottom panel for durability with webbing attachment loops.
  • Quick access, side zippered pocket for maps and regularly used items.
  • Included webbing straps can be used for front gear carry, transforming top pocket to backpack, and as replacement buckles.

Finding Your Size

Your correct frame size is found by measuring your torso from the seventh vertebra (the big bump where the shoulder slope meets the neck) down the spine to the point in the small of your back which is horizontally level with the top of your hip bones (iliac crest).

To find the iliac crest, use your fingers to trace the hip bone upwards until you can feel the point where the top edge of your hip bones curve inwards, on the side of your hip, creating something of a shelf. Holding your finger on the seventh vertebra, measure down your back to the point in the small of your back level with your iliac crest.

The measurement is most easily obtained using a string or a cloth tape and help from a friend. This is your torso length, and using it, you can now select the correct frame size.
