Women's Moraine Pant
Customer Reviews
Love these pants, I have 5 pairs and wear them for everything.
I really love these pants. They are comfortable, wind and water resistant, and have good pockets. I don’t love wearing my avi beacon in its harness. The pants’ side pocket has a loop to attach the beacon, keys, whatever. It’s located where the beacon does not interfere with my quads while skinning.
The pants are also attractive, and look good on me.
They are so comfortable and well made, and resist funk; I just wore them every day for 2 weeks, skinned up and rode at Snoqualmie, and literally played in the (cold) snow at Baker for a weekend - sitting in the snow with these pants. I stayed dry, and warm.
At Snoqualmie I had removed my Woolie 3/4 base layer on the way up (without taking off my ski boots (omg awesome!!)) Up top, it was very windy, but I was still warm enough in just these thin pants - they are very windproof!
At Baker, it warmed up and started raining lightly, and eventually, there was a barely perceptible dampness - after 2 weeks wear, and now standing around for 2 hours in the drizzle at very high humidity.
Finally they got a wash; they just came out of the dryer, and I am wearing them now.
I had one gripe initially, until I realized I had not understand the tightening system on the top of the pants. To tighten the pants, you knot the ends of the blue string where you need it, then hook the knots into these little slide locks on either side. Works!
If that was explained on the product card, I missed it.
I wear mine a few times a week all winter with a fitted layer underneath. These are great pants, I bought a pair as a gift and she loves her too!
Major error in my last review. I said my phone didn't fit in the pocket. Must have been under too much COVID stress- (or mixed them up with another pair of pants from a different company that were returned) because when I put them on to walk the dog (1 degree here this morning) the phone slipped easily and so comfortably into my pocket. So...my apologies to Bight Gear for the misinformation. These are now my favorite winter pants.
I’ve worn these pants five times in the last two weeks. They are warm (20° here) and comfortable except for a tiny bit of stitching right on the right hip But I’m really sensitive. Pockets not quite big enough for my phone. But I love how they feel and I really like the waistband. So they get a four and a half stars. And my husband thinks they look better than anything else I’ve been wearing so that brings it to five .
